it's going to track essentially up the mississippi river. and that's going to spell rain, not snow, but rain for detroit and chicago and minneapolis and big thunderstorms in the deep south. we could even hear a rumble of thunder here tomorrow about this time, especially north of town. now the clouds, they are moving in. these green areas, they are not hitting the ground yet. these are just a sprinkle, but they are evaporating before they reach the ground. we're going to stay dry for tonight. for the most part be dry for the morning commute. 47 at rockville. 47 in bethesda. 48 in fairfax. 49 in berk. so temperatures mainly in the 40s, but this is still a treat really. 48 at college park. 44 in bowie and 45 at andrews. so a few showers are on the way, but dry tonight. mainly dry for your morning commute. tomorrow morning the wet roads will be a factor, especially north of town. then over the weekend, it will be like april that we might hit temperatures in the mid-60s over the weekend and that will be the average high for april 10. not january
